🚨 $RAY Solana's largest DEX, Raydium, appears to have suffered a $1.3M exploit. According to onchain investigators, the attacker drained assets from legacy Raydium liquidity pools, including USDC, RAY, and wSOL. The stolen funds were then bridged from Solana to Ethereum. • ~810 ETH sent to Tornado Cash • ~7 ETH sent to FixedFloat Investigators also noted that the attacker was initially funded through KuCoin before carrying out the exploit. Another reminder that even established DeFi protocols remain vulnerable to attacks.

$XRP is currently still fluctuating below the $2 mark. From a long-term perspective, market interest is growing, though short-term price action remains heavily influenced by sentiment and the broader crypto market. The key question isn't "Should I jump in right now?" but rather: 👉 Is the growth of XRP's real-world adoption continuing? 👉 Is the regulatory landscape becoming clearer? 👉 Has the market already priced in future expectations? Price volatility is the norm in the crypto market; what matters is understanding the underlying fundamentals rather than being driven by short-term sentiment. Stay tuned and make rational decisions. #XRP #Crypto #Blockchain

📰 Crypto & markets roundup: US spot ETF flows are flashing caution again—Bitcoin ETFs logged net outflows of 1,320 BTC (7-day: -15,849 BTC), while Ethereum ETFs saw net outflows of 2,370 ETH (7-day: -13,416 ETH). At the same time, institutional financing signals keep getting louder: Morgan Stanley projects AI-related global bond issuance in 2026 could near $570B as tech hyperscalers ramp up spending and increasingly tap debt beyond USD markets. 🔥 Meanwhile, Ethereum’s roadmap talk is heating up—Joseph Lubin says the ecosystem doesn’t need a “second Ethereum Foundation,” and Ethereum could evolve into a fully ZK-proof protocol in 3–5 years with a rollup-centric, Lean Ethereum approach aimed at preserving decentralization while boosting throughput and composability. On the real-world AI track, Tether is backing NEURA Robotics with a C-round valued up to $1.4B, pushing toward a “machine economy” powered by autonomous infrastructure. 🚀 And in on-chain watch: a suspected Bitmine wallet withdrew 25,000 ETH from BitGo worth about $40.93M. 🚨 #CryptoNews #BitcoinETFs #Ethereum #OnChainAnalysis

🚨Crypto Just Lost $250 BILLION While Hackers Stole Hundreds of Millions- And Institutions Are Still Buying🚨 • Bitcoin crashes from $70K → $60K as ETF outflows, leverage wipes, and macro fears trigger a $250B market wipeout. • Humanity Protocol exploited: 447M H drained after a compromised developer laptop. • DeFi hacks now exceed $629M, reigniting concerns over AI-assisted attack vectors. • EU expands crypto sanction powers while Russia adds fees on USDT & USDC transactions. • NYDFS moves toward GENIUS-style stablecoin regulations. • Kalshi's perpetual futures hit $1B volume in just one week. • Cardano suffers another chain split incident, reviving reliability concerns. Meanwhile, institutions keep building: 🔹 SpaceX pre-IPO shares trade at a $75B valuation. 🔹 Stablecoin regulation is accelerating globally. Fear is everywhere. Builders are still building. The question isn't whether crypto survives. The question is: Who survives this cycle?

Proprietary AI 🧠is a huge risk to cypherpunk Crypto. Consider how Mythos is only available to the government and a handful of companies. That early and selective access is tremendous power over those without it. Imagine a critical bug in Monero that enables inflation (entirely plausible). Those with exclusive access to advanced AI could discover and exploit it - potentially destroying the project. This is why anyone concerned with privacy and freedom should strongly support open source AI efforts that make frontier capabilities available to the people, not just the powerful. Access to unfiltered truth is another.

A person ten years from retirement asked me if he should get into Bitcoin after a 50% drop. My answer was yes. In fact, history says this is the best time to get in. Bitcoin has had multiple 50%+ drawdowns, and every one of them, in hindsight, was a buying opportunity. Ten years is long enough to ride a full cycle for this asset. Even on a macro level, look at what the biggest institutions are doing. BlackRock's spot ETF became one of the fastest-growing funds in history, and Morgan Stanley now recommends Bitcoin to wealth clients. The most conservative money on Wall Street is telling people to own Bitcoin. I can't tell you what the price does next quarter, but decade over decade I'm confident. Supply is fixed, adoption keeps accelerating, and the institutional on-ramp that didn't exist a few years ago is fully built. The real risk ten years out is reaching retirement owning none of it.

Until this year, you could not run an app on Solana while keeping the data hidden from the app itself. Total transparency was the wall. @Arcium broke it. It's an encrypted supercomputer where apps compute on fully encrypted data. Nothing gets exposed. The proof is on-chain. Since May, Encrypted Computations went from near zero to 1.1M, and transactions crossed 4.1M. The difference matters: → Transactions = activity recorded on Solana → Computations = actual private work done inside Arcium's network, where no node ever sees your data That second number is the real signal. People aren't just moving tokens. They're running secret app logic on a public chain. @zinc_cash is the clearest example. A mining game where the strategies AND winning numbers stay encrypted, yet still verifiable. It just crossed 800k computations alone. Impossible on Solana before this. And Coinbase just added $ARX to its listing roadmap. Privacy isn't a niche feature. It's the missing layer. Now it's live.

**Not the "majority" of DeFi projects get hacked, but the risk is very high and the industry frequently suffers major incidents.** ### Overall Statistics (data up to mid-2026) - **Historical total losses**: Over **$7.8 billion USD** from DeFi hacks/exploits (all-time according to DefiLlama). This includes bridges at around $3.2 billion. - **2026**: Extremely active. In just the first 4-5 months, losses reached **$750-840 million** (or over $1 billion per some reports), with major incidents like **Kelp DAO (~$292 million)** and **Drift (~$285-299 million)**. April 2026 set a record with **29 hacks in a single month**. - **Comparison**: 2025 saw roughly $2-3.4 billion in total crypto hacks (DeFi accounting for the majority). Current DeFi TVL is around **$100-130 billion**, meaning annual losses can represent **0.5-2%+ of TVL** depending on the year. There are hundreds to thousands of DeFi protocols (e.g., ~1,800+ on Ethereum and ~1,100+ on BSC per DefiLlama). The number of hacks per year is only a few dozen to ~100-300 incidents (including minor ones), so **not the majority** are directly hacked. However: - Many small/new projects get hacked or rug-pulled and disappear completely (TVL often drops 90-96% post-hack with little recovery). - Major incidents usually target high-TVL protocols, bridges, and lending platforms. ### Main Causes of DeFi Hacks 1. **Smart contract vulnerabilities** (flash loans, logic errors, governance) — still a major factor. 2. **Private key / credential theft** — accounted for **~72% of losses in 2026** (not code bugs). 3. **Bridge exploits** and centralized components (even in DeFi). 4. **North Korea-linked groups** (such as Lazarus) responsible for most high-value hacks. ### Practical Advice - **Not all DeFi is equally dangerous**. Large, multi-audited protocols (like Aave, Uniswap, Lido...) are significantly safer than new, low-TVL projects with anonymous teams. - Always check: Audits (from Certik, PeckShield, Halborn...), bug bounties, stable TVL, and transparent teams. - Risk remains much higher than TradFi (losses estimated ~8,500% higher in some comparisons) because code is public and the incentive to hack is enormous. - **DYOR + diversify + only use money you can afford to lose**. DeFi continues to grow strongly (TVL has increased significantly in recent years), but **"code is law"** means real risk. Most hacks could be avoided with strong audits + excellent operational security. If you're considering investing in a specific protocol, let me know so I can analyze it further!

Been thinking about this for a while and Ledger's new agent stack frames the problem better than anything i've come across every crypto agent project i've looked at has the same blind spot: > the model holds the key. sometimes wrapped, sometimes injected at runtime > but at the end of the day a probabilistic system decides whether funds move one bad inference away from a drained wallet and everyone just keeps building on top of it what Ledger shipped: > a hardware wall between the agent's decision and the actual transaction > agent proposes -> human reviews on physical device -> device signs -> CLI broadcasts > the agent is a participant, not a custodian i installed the Wallet CLI and wired it into a Claude Opus 4.8 session > one npm install > terminal access to send/receive/swap/stake > every signing step blocks until the device confirms the DMK Skills are the part that matters architecturally - they teach agents how to wire hardware signing into your app via markdown instruction sets > Claude, Cursor, or Cline can wire up hardware confirmation at build time without touching the device protocol directly no idea if this becomes the default for how agents handle value > but software-only key management for autonomous transactions is a problem everyone sees and no one ships against. this is the first open-source stack that actually does explore more here: [ https://t.co/KkRNhQli3V ] [ https://t.co/iM1Hm584wk ]

https://t.co/XkM8H0xe77 This is a pretty sobering but important milestone for DeFi. Radiant didn’t “fail suddenly”—it slowly converged on the hard truth that post-exploit recovery without capital, growth, or meaningful runway just isn’t a stable equilibrium. The maintenance-mode framing (no upgrades, withdrawals still open, recovery ongoing) feels like the most responsible endpoint available, even if it’s not a satisfying one. It’s also another reminder that protocol resilience isn’t just technical—it’s deeply financial and structural once trust + liquidity get hit.
